If the ticket/tour you purchased is run by a tour operator, you will now see the logo of this operator on your ticket in the 'Wallet'. So there will not be any room for confusion.
When you receive a notification with a discount code, you'll be able to select this code from a list at the checkout. So there's no need to memorize codes or input them manually!
